Terms & Conditions - Hotel des Causses


Pricing
Prices quoted are per room per night excluding breakfast unless specifically mentioned, VAT is charged at the prevailing rate and City Tax is charged according to actual number of guests.

Check In – Check Out Times
Guests are welcomed after 3.00pm on the day of arrival and are requested to vacate their rooms by 11am on the day of departure. These times can sometimes be flexible at request, and if an earlier or later check in/out is required, we will make every effort to accommodate. Please note that additional charges apply for late-checkout and are charged at full day rate unless agreed differently at time of reservation.

Deposits
A valid credit card is required at time of booking in order to guarantee the room.  Rooms will be released for sales after 6pm unless a valid credit card has been communicated to the hotel.  The hotel reserves the right to debit the customer credit card on the day before check-in.

Cancellations
Please note that whilst we will make every effort to re-let accommodation when cancelled. If cancelled 48 hours before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later in the 48 hour period, 100% of the reservation will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance in case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances to cover cases such as- bereavement, medical appointments, medical conditions, illness, adverse weather conditions etc and to include all guests on the booking 

Cancellations can only be accepted in writing either by post or email, your room is NOT cancelled until you receive a cancellation letter from Hotel des Causses.

Group bookings  – Separate cancellation conditions noted in the booking confirmation applies

Amendments or Cancellations by the hotel
Should the hotel for reasons beyond its control need to change a booking/room, then it will use all reasonable endeavours to offer the client alternative comparable facilities at no additional cost or liability. In these circumstances the client may accept or decide to cancel the contract, and accept the return of the deposit and any other monies paid in advance. This is the limit of the hotels responsibility.


Payments
Payment can be made using Visa, MasterCard or cash.  Where deposits are paid by cheque, we will also need valid card details, to secure the booking against last minute cancellations. Any booking made will be guaranteed against the credit card given and amounts payable will be taken in regard to cancellations.


Pet/Animal Policy
Hotel des Causses is a pet-friendly hotel and welcomes our furry friends!


Lost Property
Hotel des Causses has a minimum handling charge of EUR 5.00 for returning guest property, plus postal charges.

If not claimed we hold property for a period of 14 days. It will then be passed to a local charity shop.

Hotel des Causses does not accept liability for any lost, stolen or damaged items.


Damages & Breakages
We reserve the right to charge for breakages and/or damages to Hotel des Causses, against the card held for payment. Persons making the booking will be held responsible for any damages.


Parking
We have safe parking with limited spots available and cannot guarantee a spot without prior reservation. Parking is at owners risk, (car and contents).


Smoking
We are required by law to be “smoke free” and guests will no longer be able to smoke indoor nor at open windows. As accommodation providers we could be fined if we fail to enforce these laws. Regrettably, anyone who has been found to be smoking indoors will be liable to a cleaning charge of up to EUR100, payable against the credit card held to cover the booking.
